What to Expect
A local tour guide will be glad to pick you up from your hotel  ِand accompany you on an unforgettable tour to the pyramids of Giza area to visit the great pyramid known as the pyramid of Cheops “Khufu”.

Your private tour begins with a fascinating introduction to each of the three Giza pyramids: Khufu, Khafre and Menakaure. You will have free time to enter one of the pyramids, though your guide is not permitted to enter with you.

Proceed with a short drive to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the sphinx, the enigmatic symbol of Egypt. Also in Giza you may visit the solar boat museum, home to the remarkably well preserved funerary boat of Khufu.

Move to Memphis, located south of the Nile river. This city, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, was the ancient capital of Egypt and an important center during much of Egyptian history. Today, there is little left of the city, but you will be able to visit an open-air museum that offers a variety of interesting artifacts.

Next, travel to Sakkara, the name given to the extensive ancient necropolis on the plateau above the Nile valley. It has the distinction of being home to Egypt’s first pyramid, the step pyramid of king Djoser, and is the burial place of the pyramid’s architect, Imhotep Museum.
