We had a great tour with Maged from Emo Tours (17 years experience) who gave a detailed tour of some of the fabulous site locations around the Great Pyramid area (not just pyramids & Sphinx. He gave insights into the religious relationship between Pharaohs/Gods/People spanning thousands of years. We also arranged a camel ride - great fun. Then went to the Museum and Maged highlighted important pieces relevant to great Pharaohs (including Tutankhamen & Mummies) and shared some of his extraordinary knowledge. We asked endless questions and Maged filled in so many blanks. Then off to the the bazaar and excellent lunch (barbecued Kofta and Chicken was great). Very happy to recommend Emo Tours & particularly Maged. Excellent driver made us feel very Safe. We were so happy we went the next day to Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur. Saqqara is awesome & not overrun with tourist buses. You have time & space to absorb so much. It is a MUST-SEE & early pyramids/ site put Giza pyramids in perspective.

Starts with Pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by tour guide to start your full day tour visiting Giza Pyramids where you visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos then Visit the Valley Temple where the Priests Mummified the dead body of King Chephren Also there you will have a close-up look at The Sphinx - The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren. Then continue your day tour to the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. It displays the largest and most precious items of the Egyptian art in the world. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamon - A collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before they were discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Then visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The numerous shops in this district are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more . Tour Finishes with drop off at Customer Hotel in Cairo.

Postive aspects: The Guide Ahmed arrived 15min earlier at the hotel, very friendly and passionate about history. Good car to drive us around. Egyptian snacks and bottle of water were offered. 1st stop was the Pyramids around 8.30a.m. Beautiful!!! The guide took gorgeous photos of my partner and I on Giza plateau and the Sphinx. Great and insightful explanations. We went to the Papyrus museum and a boutique selling Egyptian cotton clothes. Headed to the Bazaar, super crowded had a break for 1h30 to relax before meeting the guide again. Finally we went to the Egyptian museum! Highly recommend this place! Learned a lot. The driver collected us and drove us back to our hotel. Great day from 8a.m to 4p.m roughly. Very grateful. To improve: It is a pity that the entrance tickets for the Giza plateau(where the Pyramids and the Sphinx are located)and the Egyptian museum were not included. Plan 320 Egyptian pounds (16 Euros) for 2 people for each place if U go there before 5p.m (morning fees)
