What to Expect
Begin you full-day tour with a visit to the world-famous Egyptian Museum, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore its extensive collection of artifacts from various Pharaonic periods, including the Old, Middle, and New kingdoms.
The museum features over 250,000 genuine artifacts, among which are the treasures of the most famous Egyptian pharaoh of all, Tutankhamen. Gold objects and precious jewelry were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.
With your Egyptologist guide you’ll travel to Old Cairo to see the important historic monuments in this part of the city. You’ll visit the Hanging Church and the Abu Serga Church in Coptic Cairo, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is one of the most important Jewish monuments in Cairo.
