What You'll Do
  • Visit the Great Pyramid, the only surviving wonder of the ancient world
  • See the Sphinx
  • Marvel at the vast, incredible landscape
  • Enjoy an Egyptian meal along the Nile
  • Discover the treasures of Tutankhamun and the Pharaohs at the Egyptian Museum
Overview
Discover the secrets of the Pharaohs on a jaunt to Giza's pyramids, including the Great Pyramid itself, one of the wonders of the ancient world. See the Sphinx, ride a camel, and visit Tutankhamun's treasures at the Egyptian Museum, all in just one day!
What to Expect
Explore the Great Pyramid of King Cheops (or Khufu), the sole remaining survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, enjoy a desert camel ride, see the sphinx, and visit the treasures of the Egyptian Museum.

You'll be picked up in the morning from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, and be taken to your first stop at the Great Pyramid. You'll also visit two other pyramids, for Cheops' son, Khafra, and grandson Menkaure. You'll also see 6 smaller pyramids that were built for members of the same family.

Enjoy the panoramic view and a camel ride across the desert before journeying to the famous Sphinx, the giant monument to a human-headed lion. Then visit the valley temple of King Khafra, built entirely of granite transported from Aswan.

After a short break to shop for souvenirs at a nearby bazaar, you'll take lunch in an Egyptian restaurant with a glorious view of the Nile, the world's longest river.

Finally, discover some of Egypt's most extraordinary treasure at the Egyptian Museum, built at the turn of the 20th-century to house the wealth of archaeological finds in the country, most noteworthy of all being the supposedly cursed belongings of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun, also known as King Tut.

At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to be driven back to your hotel or, if you'd prefer, you're more than welcome to stay and see more of the exceptional landscape.
