We were staying in Giza and the driver and guide arrived on-time at our hotel. We went into Cairo and visited the Coptic area. Really liked the Hanging Church. Learned about the first 3 years of the life of Christ spent in Egypt when visiting the Cavern Church. Our guide and driver shared with us their life in Egypt (guide is getting married and completing his new airport for his bride). Strongly recommend our guide. His English was very good and was patient with our asking for repeats if we didn't understand his English.

we were picked up promptly at the hotel in giza. We visited the places described. The guide Ayman was very kind. But they only gave us 1 small bottle for the 6 hours of excursion. We did not like that they insisted on taking us to perfume, papyrus and jewelry stores. The local restaurant was a disaster. I wouldn't call it a restaurant. It was a dirty bar, with no variety of food. I had asked if they offered a vegan menu and the menu offered was basmati rice and lentil soup. When we asked for another plate of lentils, they charged us at the price of gold. There was no dessert. Value for money, excessive for the place that they took us to eat

Very interesting and well structured tour to discover the historic soul of Cairo. Very knowledgeable guide on the history of the country and the places visited and able to speak excellent Italian. Honest, welcoming, very interested in his work and also pleasant to exchange impressions on the history and curiosities of the country. The best guide we had during our experience in Egypt through GetYourGuide. A mention also for the lunch which took place in a typical local restaurant in the Coptic quarter.
