    The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cairo at 6:00 AM and heads out of the city across the surrounding desert landscapes. The first stop of the day is the stunning Bahariya Oasis, which was once the agricultural center during Pharaonic times.

    It is now famous for its abundance of dates and olives. Explore the oasis with your guide and admire the sprawling landscape of shady palms and natural springs. After lunch visit the Black Desert, a fascinating landscape with rugged mountain-like domes that contrast against the sandy surroundings. Next, visit the nearby Agabat, a beautiful valley with imposing white cliff faces and yellow limestone rocks.

    Follow on to the Crystal Mountain, an incredibly unique formation made entirely of calcite crystal that sparkles and shimmers under the Egyptian sun. Head over to the White Desert next, named for its sprawling white sandy landscape that stretches across the horizon. Climb a number of sand dunes and marvel at the jaw-dropping views that seem to go on forever.

    Finally, relax on the journey back to Cairo and arrive at your hotel at approximately 11 PM.

    The driver was on time and really nice. He did not speak English very well but the 4.5 hour ride to the oasis was fine. The bedoin guide was really nice! He almost did not speak any English but he tried and gave us a really nice experience! The desert is beautiful! And the ride through the desert is fun, beautiful and sometimes a bit scary through the sand and over hills. But wow…! The long drive is so worth it!

    Having booked another activity, we were not to do this activity. Canceled at the last moment, we decided to choose this activity. It would have been a mistake to leave without doing this. Absolutely exceptional. This activity turned out to be the best of our 8 days in Egypt. We were guided by Ahmed Yassin, and led by Tamer and Hesham. We also shared tea in the desert. Unforgettable experience.

    Absolutely amazing experience.. we travelled all the way from Ireland to visit Egypt.. the desert is a must do experience... the views are breathtaking and we really enjoyed our trip ..We were two Female Travellers and we felt very safe with our guide Omar and Tamer .. one of our guides lived near Bahayria oasis and had great knowledge of places to visit in the desert.. we were so glad we got this trip done in one day as we didnt have enough time to camp over night..the food provided was gorgeous also.. I would wear good shoes for walking the desert especially if you want to climb in the black desert hills.. also it can get a little cold .. we took this trip the end of November..during the day weather is warm and beautiful but after sunset it gets a little chilly..very important bring nothing of great value to desert ..use photocopy of your passport to bring....only bring very small quantities of cash ..enough for tipping if you wish... highly recommend this trip ...
