What an amazing experience this was! Our guide, Ahmed, picked us up from our hotel after waiting on the lobby for over 20mins. We were escorted to the river where we enjoyed a private sunset Felucca ride. It was absolutely beautiful and the entire experience with Emo Tours was amazing and smooth. I'd 100% recommend this company.

The felucca ride was absolutely beautiful. Our ride commenced just before sunset which was perfect. The boat is meant for a small intimate setting, holding up to 10-15 people comfortably. We were lucky to have had this ride all to ourselves. The captain was friendly and we felt safe sailing the Nile River. This was the last tour of our trip and we were extremely happy that we were greeted by Nader, the tour guide for our first tour (Dinner Cruise on the Nile). He was just as great of a guide as he was the first time. He is friendly, easy going, informative and simply a pleasure to be around. He made us feel safe, welcomed, and happy to be in Egypt. He gave us info but also gave us time to just take in all the sites. Looking back, we wish we had Nader for all the tours and rides we booked through Get your Guide/ Emo Tours. When we return to Egypt we hope he will be our guide. We recommend the felucca ride if you are looking for a short scenic, relaxing beautiful ride on the Nile!

What better way to end an Egyptian tour than to sail on a traditional felucca? After booking on GYG, I received an email from Emo Tours confirming my pick up date and time. Our guide, Mohammed, arrived five minutes before the scheduled time. Not only was he amenable, he was very down-to-earth and easy to get on with it. When we arrived at the dock, the felucca operator said we couldn’t sail because of a lack of wind. However, Mohammed convinced the operator and we set sail. We were out for about 40 minutes just meandering along the Nile and taking in the sunset and views. It really is a peaceful way of concluding a on-the-go itinerary in Egypt. I tipped the felucca ride as well as Mohammed. Highly recommend.
