We have booked the ride at 5 PM with EMO tours. They picked us up at our hotel, so we did't have to drive through crazy Cairo streets. The ride took 1 hour, we cruised close to city center, watched lots of luxury Cairo hotels on the right bank, Cairo Tower on Zamalek and so on. Transfer back to hotel was also included.

Aufgrund des Wetters (zu viel Wind) war die Fahrt mit der Feluke nicht möglich. Als Alternative hat man uns eine Motorbootfahrt auf einem Ausflugsboot angeboten. Wir hatten das große Boot für uns zwei und unseren Guide und den Bootsführer alleine. Unser Guide Ahmed hat uns umliegende Gebäude und ein paar geschichtliche Fakten über Kairo und die Bedeutung des Nils erklärt. Wir waren keine Stunde auf dem Wasser, weil wir dank des Motors schneller unterwegs waren. Auch wenn die Segelbootfahrt nicht möglich war, hat sich die Aktivität sehr gelohnt. Kairo vom längsten Fluss der Welt zu sehen, ist nochmal eine andere Erfahrung.

What an amazing experience this was! Our guide, Ahmed, picked us up from our hotel after waiting on the lobby for over 20mins. We were escorted to the river where we enjoyed a private sunset Felucca ride. It was absolutely beautiful and the entire experience with Emo Tours was amazing and smooth. I'd 100% recommend this company.
