What to Expect
Paddle the unspoiled shores of Fitzroy Island during a 3-hour sea kayak and island adventure, departing from Cairns. The island is covered in lush rainforest that descends dramatically into crystal-clear water, where tropical fish present a rainbow of color through the coral surrounding the island.
Your adventure begins on the Fitzroy Flyer catamaran. The catamaran departs from Cairns and takes just 45 minutes to arrive on beautiful Fitzroy Island. From here, embark on your guided sea kayaking tour that will take you to some of the best preserved areas Fitzroy Island, only accessible by water.
After your 3-hour kayak tour, the afternoon is yours to go snorkeling among the tropical fish and colorful coral or just laze around in the sun. You will also be given a picnic lunch of with a chicken and salad wrap, ham and cheese roll, seasonal fruit, drink, energy bar, and bottled water.
At the end of your relaxing day, you will be taken back to Cairns.

Minimum age: 14 years
All children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian age 18 or older when traveling to the Island.
Sea kayaking is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
You must check in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to departure.
