Best part of the tour was the crew. They looked after us, made sure we were comfortable, safe and that we had fun. The reef itself was so-so, maybe we got the one that was dull in color with not much marine life. We saw the turtle and ray though.

Meet the crew 30 mins prior to departure at the Reef Adventures office which is located inside the Pier Shopping Centre, just past the Shangri-La Hotel lobby. The journey begins at Cairns Marlin Marina, where you'll step aboard the fast vessel ‘Mad Max.’ Feel the rush as you speed across the ocean to Upolu Reef, where you'll enjoy 2 hours of guided snorkelling through a world of underwater wonder. No need to worry about your appetite; snacks are provided on board, and drinks are available for purchase. **Snorkelling can be a strenuous activity. Best part of the tour was the crew. They looked after us, made sure we were comfortable, safe and that we had fun. The reef itself was so-so, maybe we got the one that was dull in color with not much marine life. We saw the turtle and ray though.

The guides were super lovely and helpful. They showed us all the little spots where marine creatures like the clown fish and the reef shark tend to hang out that I wouldn’t have known on my own. For a new company they felt really professional and took safety seriously.
