Fantastic. We snorkelled the rocks toward Nudey beach. Swam with a big bump head parrot fish, saw a shark chasing a stingray which swam along the beach for shelter. Amazing and beautiful. Wear reef shoes if you have soft feet...lots of coral beach. The boat out and back was professionally run, comfortable and on time.

Well worth booking for a day trip to beautiful Fitzroy Island. There was a bit of confusion upon our arrival as the provider had to switch boats at the last minute. We were sent to the Harbour booking desk and given the run around for 15 minutes before finally get the right person to assist. Vessel crew were extremely helpful and courteous. Highly recommend if you want to snorkel and explore Fitroy Island on your own for an afternoon.

Loved my solo trip to Fitzroy island, a very chilled easy day of snorkeling! I opted for the snorkel cruise at 1.30 and it was incredible, small group of 6! The visibility wasn’t great but the earlier you get into the water the better. The island was quiet and the staff were helpful and friendly. There is lockers right beside the general store and you can come and go as you please. I would highly recommend going to Fitzroy for a cool chilled day snorkeling. (Honestly I preferred it to the previous day cruise I took to an island out further) Seen plenty of turtles, corals and fish! Plus you save more $ by going to Fitzroy and you see a lot more! Bring plenty of sunscreen, and a large bag to bring around your Snorkel gear in to go around the island.
