Very enjoyable cooking class, lots of hands on experience with lots of instruction. We had coffee and biscotti when we first arrived, then we got right to work on the filling for the pasta. After the filling we went to work on three types of pasta which took several hours. We all worked together mixing and forming the pasta, they even let our 7 year old granddaughter work right along with us! We were then given wine and antipasto on the patio while our hosts cooked the pasta. After they put two different sauces on all of the cooked pasta we all sat at the table, including all of their family, and had a wonderful lunch with a lovely red wine. We truly had a delightful Sardinian experience.
The cooking class was excellent! We were warmly welcomed into a lovingly restored traditional Sardinian house and made to feel like we were part of the family. We made three types of pasta by hand with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions in both Italian and English. When it was time to eat, we all sat around the dining room table overlooking the garden and ate sausage, cheese, and so much delicious pasta! I would highly recommend this experience.
The tour was very well organized, and we enjoyed it very much. We were able to hear about brief overview and history about Sardegna on the way to Su Nuraxi , which gave us a good view of the land we're travelling. At the site, we were amazed by the complexity structure of the Nuraghe, as well as the level of civilization. It was certainly impressive, and the guidance given by the guide helped us to understand the background of the history as well.
Great excursion with a local guide who provides you not just with the information about the nicest beach spots (and the vehicles to get there) but also may explain (really a lot!) about history, geography, vegetation and local traditions. I’ve been impressed how well managed this tour was, and it felt like to be with a good friend from the island for half a day. It’s been quite the right balance of everything, thanks Iunio and Matteo!
Valerio was a great tour guide who picked us up from our accommodation and drove us to the vineyard, stopping en route to look at the flamingos in the salt lake! Enjoyed a very informative tour of the vineyard and farm before sitting down to taste some beautiful wine accompanied by an antipasto platter. Valerio looked after us well, even giving us tips on other things to do in Sardinia and helpful restaurant recommendations :)
