Great tour of the city to get your bearing as well Guide was patient, funny and knew the city. I learned a lot about Cagliari and its history. During the tour, the guide checked in on us to make sure we had our questions answered. At the end of the tour a lot of us asked for recommendations for coffee shops, restaurants and the like. Recommend the tour - our guide Silvia was great!

We loved our tour with Silvia! She was very thorough in her tour of Old Town and we found areas we hadn't uncovered before the tour. She taught us a lot about the history and made it fun too. I would recommend the sunset timing as the views of the sunset were amazing. I also give Silvia extra credit because she had a couple of challenging guests but she was super kind and patient with them. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Its origins date back to the Phoenician Karalis, developed on a settlement traced back to the third millennium B.C. Meet your guide and walk through the narrow streets of the old district of Castello to discover the beauties of the city. As you pass medieval towers, bastions, the royal palace, and the cathedral, discover the history of this amazing fortress facing the sea. During Roman times, the city became the capital of the island, and in the Middle Ages, it was the seat of different foreign dominations, evidence of which is still visible today. Panoramic points of the Castello will offer unforgettable views of the city and of the sea, Molentargius’ Park, and the Devil’s Saddle.

Francesca our guide was wonderful. She told stories that brought the city to life and did so with good humour and graciousness. As we had booked a private tour for the three of us, she kept a pace that suited us and was happy to respond to our questions throughout (not just about Cagliari). There are definitely better value options, (like not paying for a private tour, but instead doing the scheduled tour with the same company), but we were thrilled with our guide, her communication (both before and during the tour) and highly recommended Francesca
