Full description
The Sea of Cortés adventure is an opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Step aboard a luxury yacht and prepare to be immersed in breathtaking beauty and natural wonders; it is truly the adventure of a lifetime.   Named by famed explorer Jacques Cousteau as "the world's natural aquarium", the Sea of Cortés is the 700-mile-long body of water embraced by mainland Mexico and Baja California. Begin your adventure as you cruise in an elegantly beautiful catamaran, towards the Espiritu Santo Island passing countless pristine beaches, clear blue waters, and stunning marine life. Enjoy a light breakfast with fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt to fill you with energy for a great day. Swim and snorkel in this stunning natural sanctuary amongst a breathtaking array of brightly colored tropical fish, manta rays, dolphins, sea turtles, and sea lions to name a few! Arriving at "Los Islotes", jump into the clear waters and begin your ocean exploration, accompanied by expert guides. Your journey will takes you into one of the most biologically diverse marine environments on the planet, a habitat that supports more than 900 varieties of fish and more than 2,000 species of marine mammals.  Emphasizing this importance, UNESCO has declared the Sea of Cortés a World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve. Stop at the stunning beach of Isla Partida, voted the most beautiful beach in all of Mexico, and named by Travel magazine as one of the top 12 beaches in the world. Sit back, relax, and bask in nature and treat yourself to the freshly prepared lunch and unlimited open bar.

We always have a fantastic time with Cabo Adventures. I would say this is our 6th or 7th excursion with the company and we always are impressed by the service and the experience we have. This was no different. From the door to for transportation to the fantastic food and drink offerings to the beautiful boat (with a restroom!) and fantastic staff - just everything was great. Of course the snorkeling with the sea lions and other marine life made the experience what we sign up for and was amazing, but when you see other groups going by with nothing and we are munching on yummy food and having cocktails, you know we picked the right group to book with. Don’t miss out!!

Our guide Diego was head abd shoulders above many other guides I have had on scores of excursions. He was knowledgeable and if he didn't know the abswer to a marine life question he woukd look it up. He told relevant and interesting facts and anecdotes, and he worked his ass off making all of us comfortable and well-served. The catamaran was the most comfirtable I have ever been on (dozens) becsuse instead of webbing in the bow it was solid with cushioning and the seats were padded and roomy. We saw many fish and other sea animals at great reefs, both rocky and coral, a d the staff allowed us to snorkel at will onstead of in a tight knot whike keeping an eye on all of us. And the food was plentiful abd drlicious, fresh and healthy--as good as a fine restaurant! Our bus driver, Leo, was careful and efficient and we all survived the long drive and enjoyed a wonderful day in the Sea of Cortez off La Paz.

The staff was all very nice and respectful. They communicate well to you in both English and Spanish. The drive is 2.5 hours to the boat and the boat ride is 1.5 hours to the sea lions. It ends up being 8am-8pm but totally worth it. The food was great and unique to diet restrictions. They provided wet suits for cold water. The photographer took great pictures and sold all for $60. They gave blankets when you were cold and served you at your seat. Nice and clean boat.
