  • Set sail to see some of the world’s largest and most magnificent animals, whales
  • Admire all of the famous landmarks of Cabo San Lucas from a new perspective
  • Sail for the Pacific Ocean on a search for blue, gray, and humpback whales
Full description
Hop aboard the catamaran and sail out to the Pacific to observe the annual migration of Baja's whales. Enjoy a close encounter with the gray, humpback, and/or blue whales as they swim to the tropical waters surrounding Los Cabos. It is here that they give birth to their young during their yearly migration. Listen to the beautiful song of the whales with the help of new hydrophones. Observe mothers with their calves as the crew helps in identifying the different species and behaviors of these majestic beasts. The tour will also cruise by Cabo’s famous landmarks, Lover's Beach, the Arch, and Land's End. Make sure to have your camera ready as this excursion presents excellent photo opportunities with unique land formations and, of course, some of the world’s largest animals.

Our transportation was on time. The check in was easy. The boat captain and crew were outstanding and friendly. The food was good. The only issue is that you don’t know where the whales are and they don’t always jump way out of the water. They also disappear down in the water for minutes at a time.

I visited Los Cabos a couple of weeks ago for Christmas, and this particular experience was a good one. They picked me up on time at my AirBnb (drop off was not included) and all the staff were very friendly. The route is very basic, you go through El Arco (literally you just go through, there is no stop there) and after advancing a little more, the exit of whales began. The sighting was not spectacular, we barely saw the back and its tail, but that is out of the operator's hands, as it has to do with the animals themselves. What is appreciated is that they were respectful and did not harass them, like other boats that were there. I recommend doing this tour in a small boat, because in my case there were around 40 people and on many occasions we got in the way to see well. I also recommend that if you take it in the morning, like me, you bring a sweater, because the wind is somewhat cold.

Really enjoyed whale watching on a catamaran. We saw several humpback whales. Crew was fun and knowledgeable. They served delicious breakfast burritos and drinks. Pick-up at our hotel was on-time and courteous. The excursion was to last two hours, but unfortunately it was cut a bit short because the boat waited nearly 30 minutes for a couple of late customers. Wasn't really fair to all of us who were on board and ready to go on time.
