“In the Land of Fire and Ice, one of the most popular places to visit is kind of in between. The Blue Lagoon is a short bus trip from Iceland’s capital, Reykjavík. It glows a bright, milky blue and was such a soothing experience on our trip. You’re stepping into steaming seawater, surrounded by volcanic rock, but there are towels and robes and a full spa experience, too… it feels like another world. It’s busy but massive, so you always have space, and the steam makes it feel a little more private. And mystical. And incredibly peaceful.”
