Why Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is one of the most visited cities in Europe, yet it still has plenty of quirks and hidden gems to keep even the most adventurous travelers hooked. From immersive museums to hidden neighborhoods and one of the best vegan food scenes in Europe, there are plenty of unique and unexpected experiences to be found. Amsterdam can easily be explored in a couple of days, but I recommend staying longer and exploring the amazing places just outside the city. The Dutch windmills of Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam Beach are two of my favorites — only a few visitors know about them.
