Why San Francisco?
We drove across the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset and were immediately enchanted by San Francisco. What a goosebump moment and a milestone in our journey across the US. As a couple in the LGBTQIA+ community, we felt so welcomed by this open-minded, colorful, and picturesque city. Plan at least two days to stroll through lovely neighborhoods like North Beach (Little Italy), Haight Ashbury, and Chinatown. An unexpected highlight was touring Silicon Valley, home to the tech companies and ideas that changed our modern world.
