Why Yosemite?
I’m from Los Angeles, and every summer my family would get out of the city and visit Yosemite National Park. As a child, the iconic mountains like Half Dome and El Capitan seemed like friendly giants. In fact, they still do. Around them are miles of epic hiking trails, waterfalls, wildlife, camping adventures, and stunning views. It’s the perfect place to explore. My best tip is to spend your nights in Yosemite Valley instead of outside the park to save hours of driving. In early summer, the Vernal Falls trail is a must. It’s my favorite hike. And even if you’re not a morning person, catching the sunrise from Glacier Point is worth it, I promise.
