What People Are Saying About Burgundy
We had a wonderful time on the bike tour through the Bourgogne vinyards. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did everything to make us comfortable, even with the weather not cooperating all the time (rain). The castle we saw was neat, and we got to taste plenty of different wines as well as had a great lunch. I am so glad we got to experience Burgundy this way.
My husband and I enjoyed this wine tour very much. It was so nice to drive along the wine road and see different wineries. Our guide, Isabelle was very informative and we learned so much about the wines. The tastings we incredible! The wine was some of the best I have ever tried. Both stops for wine tastings were great, informative, and fun to see the wine cellars. You won't regret doing this!
My husband and I chose to do the cycling a wine tour around Burgundy as he is a passionate cyclist and I love wine. It was also an opportunity for us to explore the area and learn more about the wine region. This experience was more than what we could ever wish for! Florian, our guide, was truly amazing and imparted a wealth of knowledge with us about the area. We tasted delicious wines, had an amazing four course lunch, rode through the most beautiful quaint villages and visited a magnificent castle. This experience is one I'll treasure for a lifetime and would recommend it to others without hesitation.
This tour was the highlight of a wonderful trip to France for my daughter and myself. Our guide, Florian, was exceptional in his knowledge of wine growing in this region. He was so kind and sweet and was always looking after our well being and safety while biking on the tour. On a side note, we needed to catch a train at 5:30 and he went out of his way to assure that would happen. The weather was perfect and that added to the beauty of the day. The countryside was spectacular and although there were a couple tough hills, most of the tour was spent biking on level ground or downhill. The bikes were of extremely good quality as well. No "city bikes" on this tour. We enjoyed our wine tasting on a table in the countryside as well as a tour of a small French winery with tastings. The castle tour was interesting and when we stopped for our tasty lunch, we were ready for a break from biking! There were only four of us on the tour and we truly enjoyed the couple we met. Perfect day!
Great tour through the vineyards, and the visit to the small winey was very illustrative. The guide spoke good English and knew the local wine industry well.
