Once you arrive, take a 3-hour tour of Uruguay’s exciting capital city as you visit the most attractive neighborhoods and discover the historic sights. You will have the services of an English-speaking private guide and driver who will pick you up and be your personal guide for the day.
Go to the Port Market, the central hub of everyday life in Montevideo, where you can taste some traditional Uruguayan street food. Then, visit Independence Square and see the grand 56-foot (17-meter) high statue of Uruguay's national hero Jose Gervasio Artigas, the revolutionary who is referred to as the “Father of Uruguay".
