Beautiful riverfront location. Upscale restaurant with an excellent tango show and wonderful food. Most of the customers appeared to be either locals or tourists from other parts of South America. It was not touristy at all. More like fine dining with a first class show. The story line for the tango show was vignettes of Buenos Aires history.

It was a really fun show, the dancing was incredible and they did some dances that included drums and other alternate forms that was a nice addition. Food was ok, barely understanding Spanish made it difficult to follow the story. We paid for the dance lessons after and everyone who wants them stayed as well so that felt like a massive rip-off.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening, we chose the premium package to enable us to have a table for 2 at the front (it was), great view! Included a bottle of red, nice tasting bottle of fizz and a choice of menu, I don’t eat meat but had options and overall the meal was ok I thought. Dancers and singers were of high standard, the dancers just wowed and fab costumes, it was not too rushed either which I liked and felt like a night out. Setting lovely, staff helpful given our poor Spanish (the show is in Spanish so I didn’t catch much of the narrative). Yes the waiter did mention that he recommended a $20 tip but I expected it based on reviews, it wasn’t uncomfortable and service had been ok we felt. Picture was included, but I thought we had a mini tango lesson which we didn’t get. All told we really enjoyed our evening out!
