Among the high peaks, valleys and subtropical arid, a trip to the Northwest is a meeting with Argentina Columbian history. In a majestic natural beauty, are old colonial towns, countless festivals and local produce rustic pleasures. The northwest of Argentina is blessed with a beauty of natural landscapes, such as the Quebrada de Humahuaca and the lovely valleys of Calchaquies. The province of Jujuy is also proud of its pre-Columbian and colonial heritage which can be seen with its colorful villages.
We will visit the amazing Salinas Grandes salt desert and explore the historic place of Salta on our city tour on our 3 days & 2 nights tour.
Day 1 - Buenos Aires / Salta: Arriving in the city Salta. Transfer to your hotel. We will visit Salta 'La Linda', the downtown area, the cathedral and many other sights of this ancient city on our Salta City Tour.
Day 2 - Salinas Grandes & Hill of seven colors: We pass the Quebrada de Humahuaca and Cuesta de Lipan on our way to the Salinas Grandes (Salta Desert) during the morning, a stunning sea salt formed millions of years ago.
From this point, we will go to Purmamarca and we will see the fabulous Hill of seven colors. We will return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.
Day 3 - Salta / Buenos Aires: Transfer to the airport or bus station for your journey back to Buenos Aires or for your onward travels.
