The location and the height of the hill itself are perfect points to sight the Manaslu, Langtang and Ganesh Himalayan range. The hike itself however, is a challenging walk due to its ascent as there are many steps on the way to the top of Shivapuri peak. The trip begins after we pick our travelers from their respective hotels and transfer to Muhan Pokhari. It marks the start point of our hike and is a little further away from Budhanilkantha temple. On the way to Shivapuri peak, there is a place called Baghdwar. This is the source of Holy River Bagmati flowing nearby holy pilgrimage site and temple of Pashupatinath. From the top of Shivapuri peak, the travelers may sight Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Langtang Lirung, Mt. Langtang Ri, Mt. Gaurishankar with Ganjala Peak, Dorje Lakpa among others. After the completion of our hike, the travelers may choose to explore Budhanilkantha temple and drive back to their respective hotels.
