Full description
Your sightseeing cruise begins at Dock no.6 Mahart Terminal, where you’ll board the boat for the hour-long cruise. You’ll pass by the imposing building of the Parliament as you cruise along the Danube River, and you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Margaret Island as well. See the attractions of Castle District, including the Royal Castle, the Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion. On Gellért Hill you’ll see the Liberty Monument and the Citadel. The tour continues in a southerly direction, and you’ll have views of the bridges of Budapest, the National Theater, and the Palace of Arts. On the return cruise, you’ll see the universities of Budapest and the Central Market Hall, before the tour ends back at Vigadó Square, in the city center.

It was hard to hear the audioguide with the low volume and people being loud but the experience was still lovely. I also found it hard to find the dock since the description lists different locations and people there gave conflicting indications (it was 5A, at least the day I boarded)

The boat ride was very nice, took 60 minutes as advertised. I can only recommend doing it at sunset, as it is still a bit light, but the city is already well lit. You definitely have to be there earlier than half an hour before, otherwise you may not get a seat! So be there at least 45 minutes before! It is best to take Airpods with you, as the audio guide itself has to be listened to via cell phone via Wifi.

Interesting activity, beautiful in the evening, so that the lights of the monuments and the city create a nice effect, if done in winter / spring it is better to cover up, since it is windy. The app worked perfectly, comfortable, safe, the only problem was the "cruise" company since despite booking at a specific time, it was everyone's turn to stand in line for quite some time anyway , until the queue continued, so booking the time was quite useless, but not the fault of the application, but of the service itself, apart from that, it was really interesting and really worth it, perhaps one of the best activities to do perform in this city.
