The St. Stephen Basilica is home to our organ-concert series. The St. Stephen Basilica is one of the most beautiful neo-classical buildings of Budapest. This is the most important church building in hungary, one of the most significant tourist attractions and the third highest building in Hungary. The construction of the church started in 1851, according to the plans of Miklós Ybl, and was completed by József Kauser in 1905. In the next 50 years the church suffered from wars, storms and earthquakes. The church was reconstructed between 1983-2003.

The program of the concert was adapted for the organ of this church by Miklos Teleki, one of the best organ artists in Hungary. Anasztázia Bednarik, Miklós Teleki and László Attila Almásy regularly give concerts in Hungary, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

The arias of the program are performed by Kolos Kováts, one of the most famous and talented concert and oratorio singer in Hungary. He recieved the Liszt Ferenc prize (1977), Merit of Art (1984), and in 1992 he recieved the highest prize hungarian artist can aquire: the Kossuth Prize.

Flute performance is added to the concert as well, it is played by Eleonóra Krusic who had been playing many times and in many orchestras in Hungary and abroad during the last years. The beautiful flute performance makes the concert more unforgettable and magnificent.
