Our visit to the Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest was truly unforgettable! The building is absolutely stunning – a true symbol of elegance and architectural grandeur. Every detail, from the grand staircase to the ornate gold decorations, reflects history and culture at its finest. We joined a guided tour that offered fascinating insights into the opera house’s rich past, as well as how it functions today. The guide was knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more engaging. If you have the chance, don’t miss attending a performance – the acoustics and atmosphere inside the auditorium are breathtaking. Whether you’re an opera lover or simply appreciate art and architecture, this is a must-visit landmark in Budapest.

Our dinner cruise in Budapest was our very first experience in the city, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made! It’s the perfect way to see all the main attractions beautifully lit up along the river — like having the whole city in the palm of your hand. The food was fantastic, especially the strudel, which we loved. The traditional dancers were charming and friendly, taking photos with everyone and really adding to the atmosphere. The live musicians set the perfect mood, playing both classical pieces and authentic Hungarian tunes. A huge thank you to our waitress Zoe, who provided top-notch service throughout the evening – truly a 10/10 experience! This night was a wonderful, memorable start to our Budapest trip.

We had an amazing experience at the House of Music, thanks to our guide, Dora. It turned out to be a private tour, which was a wonderful surprise! Dora was exceptional – she engaged with us in such a friendly and genuine way, sharing not only historical facts but also current stories and personal insights that truly brought the place to life. She even took photos of us during the tour, which made the experience even more memorable. We really appreciated her enthusiasm, knowledge, and warm personality. Highly recommended!

It was an enjoyable experience. The Hungarian food was tasty. The music was entertaining; however, the violinist could have played better. We missed the dancers on our end that we saw on the other end of the ship. The best part was near the end when the two dancers came to our table and one of them put a bottle on my friend's head and I snapped a photo. Then they did if for me. Those were two of our favorite photos of our trip to Budapest!

The ship is very welcoming and the dinner was excellent in terms of variety and flavor. The description of the activity is fare to what it is says. The music, dancers, musicians are very entertaining and professional. I recommend this cruise and would take it again!
