Zsoka was WONDERFUL!! We had a small group of 3 which turned out to be quite nice. Her knowledge of Buda and Pest was helpful as none of us had visited before. She explained a lot about the history of the city, architecture, specific buildings and gave suggestions of what to eat while there. She added fun and quirky stories (rubbing the fat policeman’s belly!) mingled with history. We visited the day the Christmas market opened so she was super informative about what foods to try, the best local souvenirs, typical Budapest cuisine/wine and the culture of Hungarians. I walked away from this tour wanting to return. I left seeing a new city that has charm, beauty and is steeped in history. And I truly believe that is all because of a wonderful tour guide who opened our eyes to something new. Szucs Zsoka was simple wonderful.
Flora was very knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. She explained things well and in depth, and no question was too many. I came to Budapest with my partner and we both were so happy with this tour. It gave us a overall feeling for Budapest and found it helpful with navigating around the city. What made it even better was that there were only 4 of us! I would highly recommend this tour to get your bearings, if not learn about Buda and Pest. Bonus: if you get the 24hr travel pass, it is worth the money as it is for a full 24hrs - we used it to get back to the Pest side once finishing at the Castle.
