Our guide, Maggie, was wonderful! She made the tour really enjoyable and took us to spots we wouldn’t have seen otherwise, plus she provided a lot of context and information about the Buda Castle District. We also just had really great conversation with her and the other couple in our group.

Andrew made Budapest and Hungarian history come alive. He gave us a deeper appreciation of Hungary and helped us understand Hungary’s position and perspective though history to today. On top of that, he is a really nice person and would answer any questions you might have. Highly recommended his tour.

The tour with Daniel was excellent. His degree in history and international relations led to an incredibly informative and engaging tour of the Buda castle area. We covered so many subjects and this was like a brief history of Hungary condensed into a very easily digestible 3 hours. We had a drinks break half way through (included) and admission to St Matthias Church as part of the tour. Lots of local tips and so much interesting information was given. If you’re at all interested in the history of Hungary and Budapest then I absolutely recommend this tour.
