This tour offered insights and history of the building of the opera house including the political dynamics. Interesting info on the acoustics of the hall, the ventilation and safety. The best part was hearing the opera performance at the end - perfect length for a teenaged boy who isn't an opera lover. The tour gave you access to spaces you wouldn't have seen by going to watch an opera. The guide was excellent and they managed a large number of visitors expertly by dividing into two smaller groups.
