After meeting your expert local guide, set off on a journey of culinary exploration. Learn about the history of Hungarian cuisine and sample local delicacies, including Hungarian salami, sausage, cheese, paprika, pickles, honey, choclate and other specialties of the Market Hall.

Round out the experience by trying the typical Hungarian "Unicum" and a homemade syrup with your foodie guide.

Superb afternoon learning about Hungarian food and food traditions, tasting some salami, cheeses, honey, pickles, strudel, and even a famous Hungarian chocolate bar. Gabor, our guide, was lively and fun, throwing in lots of asides to help us understand context and history. We tasted some interesting wines as well as famous spirits as well. Great fun and since the tour, we're looking at Hungarian menus with renewed understanding and far more confidence. Gabor does this tour in German, which wasn't a problem for us, but if you don't speak German, learn now so that you can take this tour when you visit Budapest! :) It would be worth it!
