Learn to cook Hungary's world-famous dishes with ingredients that you can buy anywhere at a half-day gourmet food tour and cooking class in Budapest. First, shop for fresh produce in one of the traditional markets of the city center. Purchase ingredients that you can find anywhere in the world so that you can easily replicate the meal at home. Then, transfer to the kitchen for a Hungarian cooking class in a friendly workshop environment. Cook in small groups for a more intimate experience, and more hands-on help from your chef and guide. Once you have prepared some traditional dishes, such as cottage cheese dumplings, taste traditional drinks such as pálinka (fruit brandy), Hungarian wine, and home-made elderberry syrup. Get a better understanding of Hungarian cuisine from cooks who were all born and raised in Hungary. Hear about local traditions and customs first hand.

Besser geht's nicht!!

Der Kochkurs hat alle meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Schon auf dem Markt hat Cecilia uns viel erklärt und wir konnten einiges probieren. Während des Kochens wurde uns ebenfalls viel über Ungarn erzählt. Die Rezepte waren gut gewählt und ich freue mich schon die selbst nachkochen zu können, da wir die Rezepte im Anschluss per Mail geschickt bekamen. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir bekamen noch viele Tipps für Unternehmungen,etc. Cecilia ist sehr freundlich und wir hatten eine Menge Spaß! Jeder sollte an diesem Kurs mal teilgenommen haben!
