An absolutely lovely and informative few hours sampling some great wines, cheese and meats from Hungary. Our sommelier Nikki was a delight - lots of knowledge and so much insight into Hungary’s winemaking culture. Every single wine was a new one for me and it was a great intro to Hungarian wines. They change the selection regularly so I’ll definitely be back for another tasting when I’m next in Budapest. I was the only person booked on the evening tasting so they moved me to the earlier session but still provided 1 sparkling, 3 white, 3 red and 1 sweet wine. Very generous pours more like a glass than a taste! Also an option to purchase additional Hungarian spirits to taste if you wish. The discount at their shop on all wines that were tasted was a great extra!

Brilliant way to start our 3 day trip!! The location was easy to find and happened to be only about 10 minutes from the hotel. Lovely place to sample wines, being an old cellar. Christian, our host, made it a very interesting evening and was full of knowledge about the country and its wines. The wines he has us sample were all amazing and the food was lovely too!! Highly recommended!

Enjoyed every last second of this experience. Our sommelier Sebastian was very welcoming and his passion and love for Hungarian wine was very visible. We tasted 8 wines (one sparkling white, 3 whites, 3 reds and one amazing dessert wine) with bread, cheese and meat accompanied. Each wine/cheese/meat pairing was delicious and we learned a lot during the session. We had a great table of 3 other couples and loved the wines so much that we had 4 bottles (plus the amazing chutney) shipped back home. Overall a wonderful night which topped off our amazing weekend in Budapest.
