Thoroughly enjoyable stringed instrument concert that lasted an hour in a magnificent venue. Seven very professional musicians accompanied by an excellent soprano on a number of pieces. There was no interval on this occasion. Cost for evening seemed to be inflated by 'Get your Guide' as the prices were cheaper 'on the door'.

We finished our week long stay in Budapest with the classical musical concert. It was organised quite well and the setting was beautiful! The Basilica was not anywhere near at capacity, , perhaps closer to empty when we went, this may have been due to a few things, 1)It is off season, 2) word of mouth got around that the concert is actually average. I have been to classical musical concerts before and to symphony's, and have really enjoyed them, but this was more around the violinist and his story to success (which should be celebrated, but maybe not in the way it was). Whilst I enjoyed the concert, I wouldn't recommend it, and I wouldn't be rushing back to go and watch it again unalike other experiences I have had.

The concert was very nice and while listening you could totally relax, just leave the day behind and relax. Since there were only 7 musicians in front, the acoustics weren't that loud and we had imagined it to be a bit more "voluminous". We also missed some kind of moderator, or something where the program is displayed with the respective title. For the money it wasn't enough in our opinion. But still a very nice concert!
