We took a late night cruise (9:30pm) since in the summer the sun sets very late. The views of Budapest by night are amazing, don’t leave the city without taking one of these cruises. Worth every penny!!!
Was a bit dubious about it when we saw local operators offering a much cheaper 1 hour evening cruise. However, when we looked at the prices on the cruise we were doing the price was similar for any early evening cruises, but after sunset cruises were the same as we paid. The cruise itself was very good with an English audio guide describe all the riverside features and buildings with an accompanying video. The drinks offered were wine (red or white), beer, champagne or a soft drink. Overall really enjoyed it.

Full description
Board the boat directly at the pier in central Budapest, and sip a drink of your choice. Sip a glass of champagne, wine, beer, a soft drink or mineral water.
During the cruise you’ll see the majestic Chain Bridge and Elisabeth Bridge, admire the massive Budapest Parliament Building and see the Buda Castle on the hill. You’ll learn about the main sights from the 30-language audio guide.
Once the tour has concluded, the boat will take you back to the pier in central Budapest.
