A panoramic introduction to London by coach, including photo stops and changes of the guard when it takes place. Live commentary by an official London guide.
What to Expect
Passing Hyde Park, reach the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea where you will be able to admire the Royal Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial, both associated with Prince Albert, who provided the inspiration for the foundation of exhibitions at the National History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum; both of which you will drive past before reaching Brompton Road, where you will see the world-famous shops, Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
Continue down Sloane Street, where the world's most prestigious fashion boutiques are represented. The districts of Belgravia and Mayfair are London's most exclusive residential and commercial areas. The famous squares of Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square will welcome you into the heart of the old City of Westminster, where politics and royalty converge. Youwill see Number 10 Downing Street (the official residence of the British Prime Minister), The UNESCO heritage site of Parliament Square, around which you will see the Houses of Parliament (also known as the Royal Palace of Westminster), and Westminster Abbey (the coronation church where Prince William and Kate Middleton married in 2011).
Having admired all these icons of London, including its enormous ferris wheel, the London Eye, drive to Buckingham Palace where you will witness the changing of the guard, as long as it's running that day.
