From beginning to end we felt well looked after, from the time we met our excellent guide, Jeremy, at the Duke of York column until the time we parted at the Palace. He was very well informed and pleasant. It was impressive to see all those beautifully turned-out horses behaving so well, and so close to each other in perfect lines. Don’t know how the riders manage to keep them in order and standing so still. We would have preferred to see the front of the new horses but they looked very fine from behind. Our excellent guide told us lots of interesting information while we were waiting. Buckingham Palace tour was very well organised and we didn’t feel too hurried moving through. We didn’t enjoy queuing for 25 minutes for coffee - it was so busy - and not easy to find somewhere to sit. However the staff in the Garden Cafe and throughout the tour were so welcoming and cheerful we soon forgot our aching legs.

The walking portion and changing of the guards was great thanks to our awesome guide. She was definitely a royal expert! When you get to buckingham palace the tour guide departs and you get a headset to guide you through the staterooms. This was still a great experience and glad we were able to visit!

Very knowledgeable and funny guide, good layout. Fantastic to see The State Rooms in Buckingham Palace. The only negative was that there were no toilets until you had gone through all the rooms and came out to the castle grounds, it would have been good to have that option in the entrance.
