This is a vast tour of London including entrance to the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels. Also includes a sightseeing cruise on the River Thames.
What to Expect
Begin the day with a panoramic drive through the districts of Kensington, Belgravia, Mayfair, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square: the UNESCO world heritage site which is the country's royal, religious and political heart. You will stop to photograph the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey (the Coronation church where Prince William and Kate Middleton married in 2011) and the clock tower of Big Ben. Having admired all these London icons, you will drive to Buckingham Palace and witness the changing of the guard, as long as it's running that day.
After lunch (not included) you will explore the oldest part of London, founded by the Romans in 43 A.D. and known today as the Square Mile. After a short walking tour around St Paul's Cathedral, you'll head to the Tower of London (entrances included), an immense fortress, medieval royal palace and state prison. You will hear the fascinating stories and see the Beefeater Guards and legendary ravens who call this place home.
The tour will end with a short but marvelous cruise up the River Thames. This 30 minute journey will allow you to see London Bridge, William Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Millennium Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, where you'll disembark and the tour will end.
