Romanians have a great deal of respect for Prince Vlad Tepes The Impaler, known in Western Europe as Count Dracula, as he was a great ruler and a fearless fighter against the Ottoman threat. 

Day One: 
From Bucharest, visit Targoviste and the Princely Court and Church. Continue to the Curtea de Arges Monastery situated at the bottom of the Fagaras Mountains. See Corbii de Piatra Stone Ravens Monastery, Pitesti, and Ramnicu Valcea. Spend one night at Ranca. 

Day Two: 
Leave Ranca for Targu Jiu. Visit the Constantin Brancusi World War I monuments and Hobita-Brancusi Memorial House. Discover Scornicesti, the ex-communist leader Nicolae Ceausescu's birth village. Return to Bucharest.
