In the afternoon, depart for the surroundings of the city, and visit the beautiful Snagov monastery and the 17th-century Brancovensc-style Mogosoaia Palace. Return to your hotel for some more free time, and in the evening, enjoy a traditional Romanian dinner at Pescarus restaurant with a great view of the nearby Herastrau Lake, accompanied by a festive folklore dinner show with dance. Spend the night in Bucharest in a 3- or 4-star hotel.

Day 2: Bucharest – Sinaia – Brasov

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading north, past the beautiful Prahova Valley and on to Sinaia, the jewel of the Romanian mountain resorts. Visit the stunning Peles Castle, the royal residence of King Charles I of Romania and considered the most beautiful summer royal residence in Europe. Arrive in the 800-year-old Saxon city of Brasov in the afternoon, and embark on a walking tour of the city, visiting the Gate of St. Catherine as well as the massive Black Church to admire its 4000-pipe organ.
