Start exploring this fascinating Transylvanian town from its main square, and stroll around its well-kept historical center as you see sights like the Gothic Black Church, old City Hall, and the narrowest street in Europe. Encounter Bran Castle for your final tour stop, also commonly known as Dracula’s Castle. Take a walk inside its grandiose towers and down its winding narrow staircases and passages, and learn about the infamous Vlad the Impaler.

Know before you go

  • Peles Castle is closed on Mondays year-round and on Tuesdays from 1 August , 2024, to 1st May 2025. Subject to change due to castle policy. If your tour is booked within this period then you will see Peles Castle from the outside. You will spend more time at Bran Castle and Brasov. Peles is also closed 23-26 December 2024 and 30th December till 2nd of January 2025
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time as there is no possilibility to join the tour at a later moment.
  • Free carry on (40x30x20cm) or trolley bag (55x40x23cm) on board with weight up to 5kg per guest/person. Suitcases over 5kg are charged with 20 euros per case. Company or staff involved in the activity are not responsible for any of the guests belongings
  • In the event of heavy traffic on the roads or force majeure situations, the tour can take more than 12 hours
  • Please have cash for the visits of the castles if you want to get inside with our tour guide otherwise you will have to visit the castles by yourselves

We had a brilliant day trip to Transylvania with Dani and Nico. The peles castle guided tour was very informative. We also enjoyed seeing bran castle and Brasov. It was a long day but well worth it, plenty of time at each spot and the guides looked after us well and were friendly and engaging. Thank you!
