Built at the end of the 19th-century during more than 40 years of craftmanship, Peles Castle represents a blend of the neo-Renaissance and Gothic Revival architectural styles. Its interior has over 170 rooms decorated in Florentine, Turkish, Moorish, and other styles. The next attraction of the tour will be the medieval Bran Castle, the last royal estate of the Romanian monarchy. There, have the chance to immerse yourself into the legend of Vlad the Impaler, the real life person Bram Stoker's "Dracula" novel was based on. Next, have a nice lunch and have a questions and answers session with your guide before going back to Bucharest. We had a great time on this tour and enjoyed the personal attention we received. The guide (Horea) was really good, provided us with excellent information, and was a great driver. We were able to spend ample time at both castles and he got us back to Bucharest a little earlier which was fantastic. We recommend this tour and company.

We booked a small group day trip to see Dracula's Castle, they came and picked us up from our hotel. Because it was low season we were the only booking and this made the experience even more enjoiable! Alex is very friendly, fun and eager to share all his knwoledge and his experience, he knows loads of stories, and can explain different contexts of Romanian life/history/etc in a perfect English! Bran Castle is great, a must to see if you visit Romania however Peles Castle is the jewel a lot of people don't know about, for us it was the highlights of the tour! We ended the tour back at our hotel at 5:30 pm. Great overall experience, 100% recommend!
