The day trip was perfect ! We loved it and we are thrilled that we took it . Just Perfect! we learned about history and architecture but the landscapeof Romania countryside and of the Carpathian Mountains was breathtaking! Definitely recommend it

Vlad was our guide. Easy to find coach via registration. Coach comfortable. Vlad gave us great insight to all the places we visited and kept to timescales which luckily our group of 47 kept to. Was a little rushed but that's to be expected as had to keep to timescales and get us home safe. We arrived back into Bucharest at 8.30 pm about hour later than scheduled but this was due to traffic. Great value for the money. Very tiring as overall it was 13 hours but definitely worth it and you can sleep on the coach. Thank you so much.

Start your day trip with a pickup from central Bucharest and drive to the region of Walachia. Discover Peles Castle, former home of the Romanian royal family. Admire its stunning turrets and great attention to detail as you enjoy spectacular views across the mountains. Next, travel into Transylvania and towards Bran Castle, where the legend of Count Dracula is kept alive all year round. Built in the 13th century, Bran Castle is an intriguing hilltop fortress and one of the most famous landmarks in Romania. Experience this majestic castle, which is famed to have belonged to Vlad the Impaler, the alleged inspiration for Count Dracula. Explore the mystery and myth behind these figures with your guide. Get dropped off back in central Bucharest at the end of your tour.

Know before you go

  • - Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time. The tour will start at 7.00 and there is no possilibility to join the tour at a later moment.
  • On Monday and Tuesday Peles Castle is closed and it will be seen only from outside. Also for 20th April, Peles Castle will be seen from outside
  • The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
  • The order of the itinerary depends on the season, weather, and opening hours
  • Please have cash for the visits of the castles if you want to get inside with our tour guide otherwise you will have to visit the castles by yourselves
  • Food, hot drinks, alcohol or smoking inside the vehicle is strictly forbidden
  • Only a small handbag or small backpack allowed onboard the coach.(40x20x25). Any baggage exceeding those limits will be charged with 10 euro(cash) for handling them by our staff. Company or staff involved in the activity are not responsible for any of the guests belongings
