Even though quite a large part of the city was demolished in the 1980s by the communists, Bucharest still has a lot of beautiful quarters waiting to be explored by visitors.
On this tour you will discover whole areas with extraordinary architecture and charm, which are completely being ignored or just sporadically mentioned in guidebooks. You will leave the great boulevards in the center of the city behind and discover Belle Epoque villas built around 1900, beautiful examples of Art Deco and modernist architecture and get to know an architectural style, which you will find only in Romania: the Neo-Romanian style.
Furthermore, visit the oldest civilian building in Bucharest, turned now into a beautiful small arts museum. On the this tour you will understand how urban life developed in Bucharest over the last 100 years.
