A boat ride through the Comana Pond, also known as the 'Delta near Bucharest', is the next best thing since the Danube Delta can be out of reach.
What to Expect
The journey starts from your location towards the Comana Monastery, located inside the beautiful Comana Village, part of the Giurgiu County. The Monastery was founded in 1461, by Vlad Tepes (known in the international literature as Dracula) as a fortress type monastery.
After you have discovered all there is to know about the Monastery and its history, our next stop will be at the Comana Natural Park. Park that cover an area of over 25 000 hectars, boasting a diverse variety of fauna and flora. It is the second most important Natural Reservation in Romania, after the Danube Delta.
The tour finishes of with a relaxing boat ride through the Comana Pond, were you can enjoy and capture the breathtaking landscapes.
