4. From Bucharest: Private Dracula and Peles Castles Day Tour

You’ll travel from Bucharest to Sinaia on this full-day excursion that takes you through one of the most beautiful valleys in Romania. Visit Peles Castle, once the summer residence of Romanian kings, and now home to one of the country’s most important museums. The Castle dates from the late 19th century, and has 160 opulently decorated rooms. It is the final resting place for several Romanian monarchs, including King Carol I, who died here in 1914, as well as King Ferdinand and Queen Maria. Stopping at a mountain pass, you’ll have lunch in a typical Romanian village overlooking a small river. Continue on to Rasnov Citadel, built to help defend the villages of Transylvania. Visit medieval Bran Castle, popularly known as Dracula’s Castle. Bran Castle was built in the mid-14th century on a rock standing 60 meters high. It features 4 towers with walls made of stone blocks, and its rooms and narrow corridors form a mysterious labyrinth of ghostly nooks and secret chambers. In the inner courtyard there are artesian wells, connected to an underground network.

Honestly, the first thing I looked for was some other cheaper option, but since it was a last-minute reservation, there was no longer availability and that's why I ended up with this option. The truth is that I am satisfied with the decision, among other things, because the trip was in a minibus for a total of 16 people, while in other excursions with which we coincided in the destinations they traveled in much larger and crowded buses. In short, the excursion becomes a little more personalized and "family". The times of visits and stops seemed correct to me.

I spent a wonderful day which was offered by our tour guide (Narcis). He had a good knowledge which had shared with us with joy and patience. Besides Brasov with Peles & Dracula's Castle, he showed us two other places which were not parts of the tour.

It was fine. It was a bit of a challenge to meet at the right place and time. Pay attention to this! No food or snacks. If you sit at the back of the bus you can't see anything

The tour was fun. We were able to discover many things that we would probably have missed otherwise. Thank you for showing me

Beautiful excursion. Nice and kind guide in Italian together with the driver. Enchanting places.
