Fantastic tour wonderful guide

We were looking for something quirky and different to do in Bucharest. The tour guide from the off was very friendly and personable with a wicked sense of humour. It was a group of 5 which was ideal we were taken to the main cemetery where the guide had an amazing knowledge of those within and the history. We found the tour to be great value for money and would highly recommend.

Our guide (Mircea)was great and really brought the history of the city to life for us.

Fantastic insights into Bucharest history

Absolutely satisfied with this fascinating tour and my guide for the afternoon, Tudor. From the moment he met me -- at the appointed hour, at the appointed Metro stop, with both bottled water and a gift of Romanian Easter eggs (it was Easter Monday) in hand -- I was thoroughly impressed with the itinerary and Tudor's grasp of Romanian and local Bucharest history. Tudor is super-friendly and accommodating guide. Loved the visits to cemeteries, rickety apartment blocks, Communist-era Metro stops and government structures, and sites associated with the 1989 revolution. Hair-raising details about Bucharest serial killers was an added bonus. Best of all, Tudor followed up with an email contaIning links to online articles and resources further explaining and exploring all the topics we covered. That's a first for me -- and I was a travel journalist for 15 years and have taken scores and scores of tours around the world. I
