Fantastic Midtown Tour & SUMMIT Experience – Highly Recommended! Exploring Midtown Manhattan and visiting SUMMIT One Vanderbilt was an absolutely incredible experience! This tour was the perfect way to discover the heart of New York City, and having an amazing guide made it even more enjoyable. Our guide was truly exceptional—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city. He not only showed us the most iconic landmarks in Midtown, such as the Chrysler Building, Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park, and Times Square, but also shared fascinating historical insights and hidden gems that we wouldn’t have noticed on our own. His recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and other must-see spots in the city were also incredibly helpful! The highlight of the tour was the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt experience. The panoramic views from the observation deck were absolutely breathtaking! Seeing New York from such a unique perspective, especially with the immersive mirrored floors

Kevin is a native New Yorker and very knowledgeable. We started at Grand Central and I learned a lot about the reasons behind the appearance of the terminal vs the Chrysler building. The tour is short given the material which is the New York skyline which is impossible to cover in 90 minutes. . Still learning about the Beautiful City movement , some of the key players and a highlight like the Radiator building was a revelatory. We ended up at the Empire State Building with a pass to go in and the views were great. Kevin has a lovely conversational style . I’d say this tour focused on the first skyscrapers that are still beloved. I’d love to know more about newer buildings like the Steinway in midtown and some of the crazier tall buildings in Brooklyn. Is that realistic? Not sure as this is a walking tour.

Kevin led us on an informative Race to the Sky: Midtown NYC Walking Tour With Empire State Building. He shared great stories about two of my favorite buildings in NYC, the Chrysler Building and the NYPL! It was nice to hear about these old favorites and learn about other buildings I have probably walked by and never even noticed. Getting to go to the top of the Empire State Building was the perfect end to the day

The tour was excellent. There was a group of around 10 visitors with an expert (not an art history student as I anticipated- a professor with 15 years experience at the MoMA). Early entry helped us see the Water Lilies with the room completely empty.

Could spread the seating a bit more when bus isn’t full
