Our guide Elouise was very friendly and knowledgeable ensuring lots of interesting information on our walking tour. Unfortunately at the train station at Brugge returning to Brussels, we lost Elouise . This was daunting as there were 3 of us unsure what to do, in looking around the platform we could not see Elouise so assumed she had boarded the train. We had people help us on the train but we had no ticket when the conductor came along. We arrived back in Brussels which was the main thing .
It was a windy day and guided tour from Bruxelles to Ghent. We ran to the train, it was late. The program advertised for 8 hours, but in sum was only 5 hours (including travelling). The guide was well prepared and have shown the most important churches (where we did not go, but another group has done) and places to see. We enjoyed the visit to Ghent. The price included the train and tram tickets too. That you can make it public in the advertisement also.
Our tour guide, Thierry was very friendly and gave not just a tour of the belgian beers, but also a brief tour of the city. Since we booked during off-peak season, we joined a group of French speaking folks but Thierry translated the tour in English for us to understand as well. The 6 beers included in the package is just enough to get a taste of Belgium and get a light buzz. Make sure to eat before jooning the tour!
Su was an amazing host.. she took us to all these epic spots. She has a personal perspective that she shares with the history of all the different places and that's really priceless! Su is also really friendly, we recommend her! thanks again for the marvellous experience!!! :)
Excellent guide, many interesting stories and historical insights. Great private tour to take with visiting friends and family (and have fun yourself). We texted before the tour and communicated our interests, tour adapted accordingly ... and everybody had a good time!
