Upon arrival, navigate the romantic cobblestone streets of Bruges’ historic center to experience the medieval architecture and canals of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in all their glory. Your guide will take you to see hidden gems known only to locals, and tell you why Bruges was at the forefront of western trade and art in the Middle Ages. Start your walking tour at St. Salvator’s Cathedral, before heading to the Grote Markt to speculate on the scale of the city’s mercantile history outside the Belfry. Get acquainted with legendary characters, such as Jan van Eyck and Hans Memling, who revolutionized Renaissance art in Flanders. Discover Europe’s 1st stock exchange at The Bourse. At the end of the walking tour, enjoy some free time for a drink at a café or bar, before joining your guide on the train journey back to Brussels, with an estimated arrival time for your evening meal plans.

Great day tour!

Our guide Peter was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and accommodating to all guests. Highly recommend this tour. There was no time to stop for a canal ride (well I guess if you skipped the hour long lunch time that was given you could have tried to take a canal ride), but you can always opt to stay after the tour and get a ticket home if you wish to stay longer.

Very knowledgable tour guide

The process of sign-in the tour before setting off was a bit confusing. A few tours of different languages and destination gathered at the same meeting point, it was an overload for the tour administrator to do the checking & counting by herself. The tour guides and the supervisor were proactive and helpful to rectify the issue, this was impressive. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and attentive to details. Very importantly, he was very careful not to create nuisance to the surroundings.

An excvellent tour with a very personable guide.

We found the tour to be very good and informative. The tour was sold as a 4 hour walking tour and due to the inclimate weather this was reduced to around 3 hours which was a bit disappointing. Once concluded the tour returned to Brussels. We elected to stay behind and make our own way back by train later in the day / evening and discover more of Brugge. Unfortunately despite the tour including train tickets the guide was unable to provide us with our return tickets and thus we had to pay again for tickets which we had already paid for. If the tour company receives a cheaper ticket so be it, but I would rather have paid a little more to have control of my ticket rather than having to pay another Euro 15 / person. This was the only negative to what was otherwise a great day out.
